Thank you for all you do John 👍
Beautiful video, storytelling at its finest, spokespersons and scripting working together. The drone scenes are very strong and persuasive.
Just so you know the piano is so loud in the background I can't listen to your video
Thanks for all your work Jx2
Holy moly it looks like a tornado is forming
We actually need more dams built, can't wait to see some mega dam projects be built in my lifetime...
I don't want to know if they drove or they'll be walking down. There's nothing but a death trap falling apart. You can't pass nowhere up-and-down river. The spoonbill suffered. It's not used for nothing. The ocean river in missouri the locking down death trap
Dams push water into the underground streams.....without them the ground gets nothing. Only a fool would remove a dam....in this video you see city boys who want to see the world burn.
Fabulous!
Other than a dam is man made and the love hate relationship involved there how is a dam different from a water falls? are we to blast all falls out of existence, ya hey thats stupid just as stupid as NY city, New Orleans, etc. that were crying about losing now, man and woman in their infinite wisdom, tomorrows stupid
I grew up on the Hudson River. It is one of the most beautiful rivers in this country. I hope the dams get removed.
01:00 - Down by the river 07:33 - River 11:06 - Moon river 17:11 - River man
00:08 - Old man river 05:42 - Cry me a river 12:04 - Red river valley
Critically important discussion. A reciprocity mindset is essential
I think when all these self proclaimed naturalist tear their own houses down and restore that land back to nature, they can give other people advice on what needs done. These same people destroyed much needed water storage here in the west and destroyed up stream eco systems and completely polluted the river down stream with toxic silt.
7:44, 22:38
are these dams the cause of the collapse of the steelhead population, probably the reason they need to go
I wonder if they have done anything yet or are they still talking?
Nice job, very nice job
White man never listened to the Native American. If you back talk to your mother she will punish you hard and Mother Earth is no different.
You guys are amazing!
Wow 🤗🙂😍
thank you for trying
Beutiful grass
Clean freshwater diliciues technology
It is clean smells good beutiful trees please
it is so incredible what you are doing. thank you and God bless you. keep up the good work!
This guy is the Flo-rax. He speaks for the creeks. "Let them flow!"
As they say elsewhere, don't drink the water!
Did they really just spend 15 minutes talking about how dams should come down but they didn't do anything???
I just saw a guy sayin' bending strings in "Jazz" guitar playing is "not" Jazz guitar!!! You just prove this kind of thinking wrong! Thank you Sir, you are so good...
informative but by the title i tought youd be showing actual dam removal not just talk about it
Wow. Just wow. These guys are just incredible together.
Is this improvised?
Of course
Show more of this please! All examples are helpfull to continue this type of work all over the world! <3
What a beautiful film, what a wonderful cause. Thank you. I look forward to seeing this develop, from the other side of the pond.
I’m astounded he played a Nick Drake song. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, because I know he has a following. But back in college when I was listening to him, it was just me in my dorm room with my headphones on at 2 In the morning.
There is only one type of dam that can be argued as good. Its the damns used to hold back flood waters like the Littleville and Knightville dams on tributaries of the Connecticut river. But as the spring floods become less and less as yearly snowfalls decrease as climate change takes affect they become less necessary. Otherwise we have better methods of managing water for irrigation and for energy production. All of these dams must go. The sad thing is here in the east we have a much less native population to fight for their rights like there is in the west. But the good thing is the west is proving that dam removal is the right thing to do for life and our environment. All of these dams must go.
Flushing Creek also has historical presence. During the Revolutionary War wasn't it used by both sides? It feeds into the East river.
Why are cities allowed to use Hudson River water for drinking water? I believe it's insanity
Pitiful video! We know what these folks look like and let's get the camera off them and on dam removals! You have a rather awful format!
You guys are nuts for using the Hudson River this ain't no different than Georgia-Pacific in South Florida and you got general electric up the riverand then you got Dupont dumping in through the wallkill everything's radioactive great job 👎
How much lead is pouring
Why is the water changing colors why is it going one color and come out the
05:25 ❤
if wes, jimi and tal had a baby, it would be sco. and grenadier is channelling mingus and robeson in the bass melody.
Thank you for letting me forward through this, kept wondering if it would get past the self glorification stage... it did not.
The process would go a lot faster if the politicians and bureaucrats involved weren't too busy worrying about who will be able to take the credit for removing these dams. They need to get out of the way and let the capable people do this work.
I have seen two smaller dams removed near my home; I like it. There was water from one that was very wide by my parents' house, made it look like an expensive house, when the dam partially failed, it was decided to remove it, the water moved back to a small stream/creek..... the funny thing is my parents then got almost an extra half of an acre to call theirs for free! There are fish still, but more birds too. I think it is lovely, but for those who like to hunt and fish, there is more food available too.
so hip and cool....
Big on groovy music, low on facts.
